Red Carpet Report SIX Season 2

Talking to Brianne Davis star of “SIX” on the History Channel, about Season 2, Season 1 Clifhangar, and Olivia Munn joining #SIXonHistory #Trailer #Interview

Last year, we got to interview Brianne Davis, the multi-talented, actress, producer, and director about her new series, “SIX” on the History channel, and found her to be as lovely off-screen as on. If you haven’t watched this series yet, you can catch it on Amazon and on the History Channel on-demand. Not only do they do an amazing job telling the story of the life of Seal Teams at work, but also at home. Oh and… one of the best things about this series is the giving back that the cast (and Brianne!) does with our Veterans! You can join in too! Find out how in our interview below. This year, before the premiere of the new season of “Six” we caught up with Brianne again to find out what’s new in her life and what to expect in the new season… don’t worry, we didn’t ask about spoilers, and she didn’t tell us any either.

RCR: Congrats on Season 2 of “SIX” on the History channel, can you tell us what you were doing when you heard the series was back for a 2nd season?

Brianne Davis: Thank you. Unfortunately with my mommy brain now, I can not remember anything even a couple minutes ago. But I was extremely happy and thrilled to have another season playing the role of Lena Graves. I love her and can’t wait of the fans to see the new season.

RCR: When we last saw your character, Lena, there was some trouble at home with Bear. Can you share with us the research you did as regards to military spouses as you addressed your character and the storyline?

Brianne Davis: I did a lot of research for Season 1 but with Season 2 I really relied on my experience playing Lena and the trouble a lot of military wives have with their significant other going off into danger us situations and not knowing when they would return. It was really important for me this season to reveal a new side to Lena. It was about finding her voice and strength in a different way. She’s becoming more independent from her husband Joseph and that can always cause more tension.

RCR: Without spoiling what happens in season 2, can you share some of what is going on with Lena and Bear now? Are they able to let go of their loss?

Brianne Davis: Unfortunately, I can not say. I can say that they have a lot to work on this season and you get to see there struggles to find themselves. Which I’m hoping will bring them back together. We will see.
