INTERVIEW FROM ARMY WIFE 101

An Interview With Actress/TV Milspouse Brianne Davis From History Channel’s “SIX”

If you haven’t tuned into the History channel’s new weekly series “SIX” then you don’t know what you are missing.

AW101 contributor Lauren Gardner shared her review of the show here.

About SIX

From executive producers Harvey and Bob Weinstein, and written by William Broyes (CASTAWAY, APOLLO 13, JARHEAD) and David Broyles, “SIX” follows Navy SEAL Team Six, the best of the best whose mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover a U.S. citizen working as a jihadist fighter with the terrorists. Starring alongside Barry Sloan (“Revenge”), Kyle Schmid (“Copper”) and Jaun Pablo Raba (“Narcos”), Brianne Davis jumps off the screen as ‘Lena,’ a teacher and wife of lead SEAL Team Six commander ‘Joe Graves’ (Sloane). As the pillar of her family and heart of the series, ‘Lena’ leads her family with strength while she is never quite sure if her husband will return to her alive when he leaves to complete the world’s most dangerous military operations. Retired U.S Navy SEAL Mitchell Hall (ZERO DARK THIRTY, LONE SURVIVOR) serves as the series’ technical advisor.

Lauren recently sat down to interview the amazing female lead in “SIX” Brianne Davis who got her first lead in the 2005 movie “Jar Head” starring Jake Gyllenhall. She currently stars as the wife (milspouse) of lead character Sloane played by Barry Sloan. We learned so much about the show and Brianne including her experience learning how to fly helicopters, her mother’s experience as a military spouse, her experience filming in Afghanistan and much more.
